Summary
The SocialFit plugin for WordPress through 1.2.2 contains a reflected cross-site scripting flaw (CWE-79) in popup.php. The msg parameter is not sanitized, so an unauthenticated remote attacker can inject scripts that run in a victim's browser when the victim opens a crafted GET request. Attackers can use this to steal session cookies. The Shadowserver Foundation first observed exploitation on 2023-10-19, and a public exploit is linked in the references.
