Summary

Apple Safari before 17.5, iOS and iPadOS before 16.7.8 and before 17.5, macOS before 14.5, tvOS before 17.5 and watchOS before 10.5 are affected. Improper authentication (CWE-287) lets an attacker with arbitrary read and write capability bypass Pointer Authentication. A local attacker with low privileges and no user interaction can exploit it. CISA added it to the Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-11-04 and rates its exploitation as active.
