Summary

WSO2 products including Enterprise Integrator, API Manager, Identity Server and Open Banking IAM accept user-supplied data without sufficient validation, which allows injection of Expression Language (EL) code (CWE-94). An attacker with administrator privileges can run arbitrary operations in the affected deployment, though EL use is restricted to certain read operations, so the impact is limited. CVSS 3.1 base score is 2.7 (LOW). CISA has not added the issue to KEV, and no exploitation has been reported in the facts.

The software accepts user-supplied data without sufficient validation, allowing for the injection of malicious Expression Language (EL) code.
