Plex Media Server before 1.43.3.10861 contains a Server-Side Request Forgery flaw (CWE-918) in the /player/timeline endpoint. The protocol parameter accepts a full URL, so a remote attacker with low privileges and any X-Plex-Token value can force the server to send POST requests to a destination of their choice. Plex Media Server before 1.43.3.10861 allows SSRF via '/player/timeline'. An attacker using any X-Plex-Token value can include a full URL in the 'protocol' parameter and force the Plex server to POST to the attacker's chosen destination.
