Summary

Moby BuildKit from 0.28.0 before 0.33.1 accepts blob contents that do not match their claimed digest (CWE-354). An unauthenticated attacker who controls a registry or OCI-layout blob source can supply such content. BuildKit caches it under that digest, and a later victim build reuses it, which compromises build-input integrity.

Description from the CNA

An unauthenticated attacker controlling a registry or OCI-layout blob source could provide blob contents that did not match the claimed digest. The resulting snapshot could be cached under that digest and reused by a later victim build, compromising build-input integrity.
