Summary

Arista Networks CloudVision CUE from 2021.2.0 through 2026.2.0 trusts client source IP headers that can be forged, enabling authentication bypass (CWE-290). An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent private network, or one routed through a reverse proxy or load balancer that forwards client headers, can spoof their source IP address and gain administrative session privileges on the CV-CUE backend.

Description from the CNA

An unauthenticated attacker located on an adjacent private network (or any attacker routed through a reverse proxy/load balancer that forwards client headers) can forge their source IP address and gain administrative session privileges on the CV-CUE backend.
