Summary
Backstage is affected before 1.54.6, and @backstage/plugin-techdocs-backend is affected before 2.2.4. Improper input validation in TechDocs static content requests lets an authenticated Backstage user read restricted TechDocs content when the Azure Blob Storage provider is used and entity-level permissions are enabled. Deployments that intentionally disable the default backend authentication policy may have broader exposure. The weakness is CWE-22.
