Attack profile from CVSS 4.0 · CNA. Fix status from CNA. Impact type from CWE-863.
Summary
Obot from 0.26.0 before 0.26.2 contains an authorization bypass in its vMCP profiles. Authenticated users matching any vMCP profile can reach prompts and resources of components they were not granted, because profiles were enforced only on tools (CWE-863). Attackers can reach prompts, resources, and resource templates through the vMCP owner's shared component connection, which requires only low privileges over the network.

Description from the CNA
Obot 0.26.0 before 0.26.2 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated users matching any vMCP profile to reach prompts and resources of ungranted components. Because profiles were enforced only on tools, attackers can access prompts, resources, and resource templates through the vMCP owner's shared component connection.
