Summary
FFmpeg through 9.0.2 follows RTSP 3xx redirects in ff_rtsp_connect() without any redirect limit, which creates an infinite loop (CWE-835). An attacker who controls an RTSP server can answer every request with a 302 redirect to itself or another server, causing endless reconnects that saturate a CPU core. The attacker needs no privileges, and the attack requires passive participation from a user. A public exploit is linked in the references.
