Summary

JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 contains a missing authorization flaw (CWE-862) that lets low-privileged authenticated users modify message templates through the sysMessageTemplate edit endpoint. An attacker can obtain template ids from the unguarded list endpoint and overwrite system notification titles and content, delivering attacker-supplied text or links to other users. The CVSS 4.0 vector indicates a remote attack over the network that needs only low privileges and no user interaction, with impact limited to integrity. A public proof of concept is linked in the references.
