Summary

JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 contains a missing authorization flaw (CWE-862) in the department permission delete handler. The handler does not check authorization, so low-privileged authenticated users can remove department permission bindings. Attackers can obtain row ids from an unguarded list endpoint and use them to remove menus or buttons that departments grant to their roles. A public exploit is linked in the references.

Description from the CNA

JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the SysDepartPermissionController delete handler that allows low-privileged authenticated users to delete department permission bindings. Attackers can obtain row ids from the unguarded list endpoint and send DELETE requests with the id parameter to remove menus or buttons departments can grant their roles.
