Summary

JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 is affected by a missing authorization flaw (CWE-862) in the batchEditUsers handler of SysUserController. An authenticated user with low privileges can send PUT requests to /sys/user/batchEditUsers to move users, including administrators, between departments and overwrite their positions. An exploit is linked in the references, and CISA's SSVC assessment marks exploitation as proof of concept.

Description from the CNA

JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the batchEditUsers handler of SysUserController that allows any authenticated user to edit user department assignments.
