Summary

Progress MarkLogic Server from 11.0.0 before 11.3.7 and from 12.0.0 before 12.1.0 contains privileged legacy InfoStudio modules that do not sufficiently validate user-controlled file paths (CWE-22) and user-context values. A remote attacker with low privileges can gain unauthorized access to server files and run actions under an unintended identity, with a scope change and high confidentiality impact.

Description from the CNA

Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 contain privileged legacy InfoStudio modules that do not sufficiently validate user-controlled file paths and user-context values.
