Summary

ImageMagick 7.1.1-7 before 7.1.2-32 contains a heap buffer over-read caused by incorrect string termination in XMP profiles (CWE-125). A remote attacker who supplies a crafted image with a malformed XMP profile can read beyond allocated heap memory and crash the application, without privileges or user interaction.
