Summary
Progress MarkLogic Server from 11.0.0 before 11.3.7 and from 12.0.0 before 12.1.0 does not sufficiently sanitize input used by the Query Console file-exploration endpoint. This missing neutralization of CRLF sequences (CWE-113) lets an attacker inject HTTP response headers. An authenticated remote attacker with low privileges can exploit this when a user interacts with a crafted link, which can cause unintended client-side response handling.

Description from the CNA
Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 do not sufficiently sanitize input used by the Query Console file-exploration endpoint, which could allow HTTP response splitting and unintended client-side response handling.
