Summary

Tiiny-AI PowerInfer up to 8bd56d69906c9d2dba4d3bf6899763401e01a9a4 contains an out-of-bounds read in the gguf_init_from_file function of ggml.c in its GGUF Parser component. The flaw comes from improper restriction of operations within the bounds of a memory buffer (CWE-119), where the data_offset argument is not checked correctly. A local attacker with low privileges can read memory outside the intended buffer. A public exploit has been disclosed.
