Commvault Cloud versions 11.46.0 through 11.46.29, 11.44.0 through 11.44.24, 11.40.0 through 11.40.77 and 11.36.0 through 11.36.126, and Grid(HSX) CVFS versions 5.0.1.0 through 5.0.14.4, are affected. An input validation issue lets attacker-supplied input reach operating system commands (CWE-78). A remote, unauthenticated attacker needs no privileges or user interaction, and the CVSS 4.0 vector rates the impact to confidentiality, integrity and availability as high.
