Adobe Commerce through 2.4.9-2026-sep, Adobe Commerce B2B through 1.5.3-2026-sep and Magento Open Source through 2.4.9-2026-sep are affected. The flaw is a stored cross-site scripting weakness (CWE-79) in which input placed into form fields is not neutralized before being rendered. An unauthenticated remote attacker can inject malicious scripts into a vulnerable field, and the script runs in the browser of a victim who opens the page containing that field, which can give the attacker elevated access or control over the victim's account or session. The scope is changed.
