Summary

Microsoft .NET 8.0, 9.0, 10.0 and 11.0 runtimes and Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 version 17.14 and 2026 version 18.10 are affected in versions before their fixed releases. An origin validation error (CWE-346) means the software does not correctly verify where input comes from. An unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass a security feature over the network, and a user must interact with the attack to make it work. The impact is to integrity.
