Summary

muCommander through 1.6.2 contains a path traversal flaw (CWE-22) in its UnpackJob class. The ZipSlip check can be bypassed with unnormalized remote paths, so files can be written outside the destination folder. An unauthenticated attacker can craft TAR or ZIP entries that, when a user extracts them to FTP or SFTP folders, create or overwrite files writable by the user's remote account.
