Summary

TurboDocx html-to-docx through 1.23.1 contains a server-side request forgery flaw (CWE-918). Attackers who supply HTML can make the server fetch internal URLs via img src attributes, since the loose isValidUrl() check lets loopback, private and cloud metadata addresses pass. Responses from those addresses are embedded in the generated DOCX word/media folder, so an unauthenticated attacker can read them. The references include an exploit link.
