Summary

The updateDb function in sar2html.py of cemtan sar2html 4.0.0 contains a path traversal flaw in its File Upload component. Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory (CWE-22) lets crafted input reach paths outside the intended directory. A remote attacker can exploit this without privileges or user interaction, with low impact to integrity and availability.
