Summary

Network & Virtual Switch in QNAP QTS 5.1.x and 5.2.x, QuTS cloud c5.2.x, and QuTS hero h5.1.x and h5.2.x is affected before the builds listed in the fix. Improper neutralization of input (CWE-79) lets malicious code be stored through the interface name. A remote attacker who already holds an administrator account can inject script that runs in the browser of a user who interacts with the page.

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been reported to affect Network & Virtual Switch. If a remote attacker gains an administrator account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to inject malicious code.
