Summary
ytnef through 2.1.2 by Yeraze contains a heap out-of-bounds read in MAPIPrint() that lets attackers read past heap allocations. An attacker can deliver a crafted winmail.dat whose decompressed RTF lacks a NUL terminator, which makes printf over-read and crash ytnefprint while leaking adjacent heap bytes. The flaw is tracked as CWE-125. Exploitation requires a user to process the file, and a public proof of concept is referenced.
