Summary
Netgate pfSense CE from 2.5.0 through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection flaw (CWE-78) in the openvpn.learn-address.sh script. Because certificate common names or usernames are inserted unquoted into su -c strings when DNS Resolver client registration is enabled, an authenticated VPN client with low privileges can run commands as the unbound user.
