Summary
The Linux kernel KVM arm64 vGIC code from 6.19.9 before 6.20 and from 7.0 is affected. The last_lr_irq pointer references the last interrupt inserted into a list register without holding a refcount, so a concurrently unmapped LPI can vanish while still referenced. The fix takes a refcount on that interrupt when last_lr_irq is populated and drops it in vgic_prune_ap_list() when LPIs are reclaimed.

Description from the CNA
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: vgic: Take a refcount on IRQs referenced by last_lr_irq Referencing the last interrupt inserted in an LR is rather fragile, as this interrupt can vanish if a concurrently unmapped LPI. Solve this by bumping up the refcount on the interrupt when populating last_lr_irq, and drop it at vgic_prune_ap_list() time, when LPIs are being reclaimed.
