Summary
The Linux kernel's amdgpu driver does not release the firmware requested in gfx_v6_0_init_microcode() when the GFX block is torn down, leaking firmware resources. The fix adds gfx_v6_0_free_microcode(), called from gfx_v6_0_sw_fini(), which releases the PFP, ME, CE and RLC firmware. Red Hat rates the issue Low, and no fix is planned for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 while the other affected Red Hat products have no fix available.
