Summary

Vanus versions 0.8.0 through 0.9.0 contain a missing authorization flaw (CWE-862) in the gateway. Any authenticated user can call Subscribe, Ack and unregistered methods without permission checks, so an attacker can supply another tenant's subscription ID to hijack it, read and acknowledge its events, and starve the legitimate consumer. The ListUser method also lets such a user enumerate cluster users. The attack needs low-privilege authenticated access over the network.
