Summary

libtta through 2.3 contains an integer overflow in tta_decoder_init_get_info() that lets attackers cause a heap buffer overflow on 32-bit builds through unvalidated header fields. An attacker supplies a crafted .tta file with a sample rate of 1 and a large samples value, which wraps the seek table allocation and crashes applications. The CVSS 4.0 vector shows a local attacker with no privileges who needs user interaction. A public exploit is linked in the references.
