Summary
LobsterAI before 2026.10.16 contains a hardcoded password that is used to encrypt exported provider API keys. An attacker who obtains a providers export file can derive the AES-GCM key via PBKDF2 using the embedded salt and recover every third-party AI provider API key. The flaw is classified as CWE-321. Exploitation requires local access with user interaction, and the sources report no known exploitation.
