Summary
Vita3K before build 4187 contains a path traversal (zip slip) flaw in install_archive_content() that lets attackers write files outside the install directory. The flaw is tracked as CWE-22 and is triggered by crafted .vpk archives whose zip entry names contain '..' segments or absolute paths. An attacker who convinces a user to install a crafted VPK package can write attacker-controlled files anywhere Vita3K can write, which could enable host code execution.

Description from the CNA
Vita3K before build 4187 contains a path traversal (zip slip) vulnerability in install_archive_content() that allows attackers to write files outside the install directory via crafted .vpk archives. Attackers can embed '..' segments or absolute paths in zip entry names to write attacker-controlled files anywhere writable by Vita3K, potentially enabling host code execution.
