Summary
libstrophe through 0.14.0 contains a stack-based buffer overflow (CWE-121) in SCRAM_Hi. A malicious XMPP server can send a server-first-message whose SCRAM salt decodes to more than 124 bytes, overflowing a 128-byte stack buffer. This aborts the client or overwrites stack memory in NDEBUG builds.
