Summary
diem-project diem versions 5.1.0, 5.1.1, 5.1.2 and 5.1.3 are affected. The SHA1 handler in lib/model/doctrine/PluginDmUser.class.php hashes passwords with insufficient computational effort (CWE-916), which makes stored hashes easier to crack. A local attacker with low privileges can exploit it, but the attack is highly complex and difficult to perform. A public exploit has been disclosed and may be used.
