Summary

Apple iOS and iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS and watchOS versions before 27 are affected. An out-of-bounds read (CWE-125) occurs because bounds checking is insufficient, so processing a maliciously crafted image can terminate the process unexpectedly. A remote attacker can trigger this if a user processes the crafted image, with no privileges required.
