Attack profile from CVSS 4.0 · CNA. Fix status from CNA. Impact type from CWE-639.

Summary

Modoboa before 2.8.0 contains an insecure direct object reference that lets authenticated users delete alarms belonging to other domains through the POST /api/v2/alarms/bulk_delete/ action. Attackers can enumerate sequential alarm IDs to delete DNS, MX and blocklist monitoring alarms server-wide, hiding problems from responsible administrators. The flaw is classified as CWE-639, authorization bypass through a user-controlled key. An authenticated attacker with low privileges can exploit it over the network without user interaction.
