Summary

Oracle Helidon versions from 3.0.0 through 3.2.21 and from 4.0.0 through 4.5.5 are affected. An improper access control flaw (CWE-284) in the helidon-security-providers-idcs-mapper component lets a low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Helidon runs compromise Helidon. Exploitation is difficult, and a successful attack can cause unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Helidon accessible data, with impact extending to other products because the scope changes.
