Summary
Trigger.dev before 4.6.0 contains a missing authorization flaw in its waitpoint token wait endpoint, classified as CWE-639 (authorization bypass through a user-controlled key). An authenticated attacker holding any secret API key can supply another organization's run ID with the attacker's own waitpoint, blocking that run indefinitely and injecting resume data into it. The CVSS 4.0 vector rates the attack as network-based with low privileges and no user interaction.

Description from the CNA
Trigger.dev before 4.6.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the waitpoint token wait endpoint that allows authenticated attackers to block runs belonging to other organizations. Attackers holding any secret API key can supply a victim run ID with their own waitpoint, causing that run to block indefinitely on a waitpoint the victim cannot complete, and can inject resume data into it.
