Summary
Dulwich from 0.22.5 before 1.2.8 has a path traversal flaw (CWE-22) in stash.py pop(). Attackers can write arbitrary files outside the worktree through intermediate directory symlinks, and a crafted repository whose popped stash writes a payload into .git/hooks/post-checkout runs code on the next checkout. CVSS 4.0 scores it 7.3 (HIGH), and Red Hat rates it Important. Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2 and Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) are affected with no fix available.
