Summary

An unauthenticated, remote attacker could bypass access controls on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (Unified CM SME). The flaw is improper input validation of specific HTTP requests, so a crafted HTTP request sent to an affected device could give the attacker access to parts of the network beyond their intended scope. The weakness is classified as CWE-749, and the CVSS 3.1 base score is 5.3 (MEDIUM).

Description from the CNA

A vulnerability in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (Unified CM SME) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct access control bypass attacks on an affected device.
