Summary

Splunk SOAR versions from 0 before 8.7.0 are affected. The flaw is use of non-canonical URL paths for authorization decisions (CWE-647), so the access checks do not reliably handle equivalent but differently written URL paths. A remote attacker with low privileges can read, change and disrupt data over the network without user interaction. Cisco found the issue during an internal security review and it is grouped with other internally discovered flaws in the same release.
