Summary
Mistune before 3.3.0 contains a path traversal flaw (CWE-22) in its opt-in Include directive. A remote attacker who can submit Markdown rendered with Markdown.read() can read local files such as /etc/passwd, and a user must take part in the attack. Attackers can also inject unescaped HTML or script into the rendered output.
