Summary
The Speed Optimizer WordPress plugin before 7.8.5 does not sanitise or escape some of its settings before outputting them in the head of front-end pages. This is cross-site scripting (CWE-79) that lets a high-privilege user such as an admin store script that runs for visitors, even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed, for example in a multisite setup. An attacker needs high privileges and user interaction, and the impact is limited to low confidentiality and integrity loss. A public exploit is linked in the references.

Description from the CNA
The Speed Optimizer WordPress plugin before 7.8.5 does not sanitise or escape some of its settings before outputting them in the head of front-end pages, which could allow high-privilege users such as admins to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in a multisite setup).
