Summary
Router firmware in the 3.0.0.6.102 series, 3.0.0.4.388 series and 3.0.0.4.386 series from ASUS is affected. Improper neutralization of special elements in an OS command (CWE-78) combined with cross-site request forgery lets an unauthenticated attacker trick a logged-in administrator into visiting a phishing website. The router then executes arbitrary commands with root privileges.

Description from the CNA
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command (“OS Command Injection”) and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in an ASUS router model allow an attacker to trick a logged-in administrator into visiting a phishing website, causing the router to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. Refer to the ' Security Update for ASUS Router Firmware ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information.
