Summary

halo-dev Halo up to 2.27.0-beta.1 has a path traversal flaw in the resolveViewNameOrDefault function of its view name resolver, caused by improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory (CWE-22). Manipulating the template argument lets a remote attacker reach files outside the intended directory. The attack needs no privileges or user interaction, and a public exploit has been published and may be used.
