Summary

Xpdf 4.06 and earlier contains an infinite loop caused by incorrect validation of the progression order field in JPEG 2000 images (CWE-20). A local attacker with no privileges can make Xpdf hang when it processes a crafted JPEG 2000 image, which causes a denial of service.
