Summary
Moxa Remote Connect Suite (MRC Client) versions 1.0.0 through 4.2.0 do not properly validate certificates (CWE-295). Under certain conditions, an unauthenticated attacker with on-path access to traffic between the client and its server can impersonate the trusted server and perform a man-in-the-middle attack. This can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of communications.
