Aidot Linkind Matter Smart Plug 1.01.32, OREiN Matter Smart Light Bulb 3.15.21 and Linkind Wi-Fi Smart Light Bulb 3.30.17 are affected. The flaw is improper control of code generation (CWE-94) during UPnP root description parsing, which lets attackers inject code. A remote attacker without privileges or user interaction can execute code on the device, with high impact to confidentiality, integrity and availability. CISA's SSVC rates exploitation as proof of concept.
