Summary
In the Linux kernel tracing subsystem, predicate_parse() can push an operator past the last allocated entry of its operator stack, because the existing capacity check allows the write when top already points to that entry. An attacker with local access and low privileges can access memory beyond the operator stack, with high impact to integrity and availability (CVSS 3.1 7.1, HIGH). Red Hat rates it Moderate, and CISA has not listed it in KEV.

Description from the CNA
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Check operator stack capacity before pushing predicate_parse() uses the first operator stack entry before processing any opening parentheses. A push then increments top before writing. The existing check still permits that write when top already points to the last allocated entry, which can access beyond the operator stack. Reject the push when top reaches the last allocated entry.
