Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise releases from 7.4.0 through 11.6.16, 12.0.0 through 12.2.10, 12.3.0 through 12.3.11, 12.4.0 through 12.4.13, 13.0.0 through 13.0.11, 13.1.0 through 13.1.8 and 13.2.0 through 13.2.4 are affected. Uncontrolled recursion (CWE-674) in the server-side math expression parser lets a user crash the server. A user with the Viewer role can crash the server by submitting a crafted expression, and a user with permission to provision alert rules can make the outage persist across restarts.
