Summary
Juniper Networks Session Smart Router and Session Smart Conductor are affected before 7.0.5, from 7.1.0 before 7.1.7, and from 7.2.0 before 7.2.3. Improper link resolution (CWE-59) in unauthenticated web server handlers lets a local unprivileged user overwrite arbitrary files as root via unauthenticated API endpoints. Mist-managed routers and unmanaged routers not yet onboarded to a Conductor can be exploited, but routers already managed by a Conductor are not affected.
